Join other friends and supporters of the Greek America Foundation during the weekend of November 22, 2019 in the wonderful city of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where we will meet, gather, break bread, learn, deliberate and celebrate.
We are honored to be officially welcomed by local mayor Dean Trantalis, who has generously offered his time to accompany our group throughout the weekend.
In addition to our biannual board of directors meeting, we will host a pair of events and offer enjoyable experiences for young and old. See below our planned schedule of events and activities.

Friday, November 22
Welcome to the Sunshine State! Our headquarter hotel will be the incomparable Ritz-Carlton Hotel adjacent to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Lulled by the sounds of the surf, this beacon of effortless luxury draws in the energy of the surrounding city and emanates the essence of the 1940s with a chic, modern day flair. Greek America Foundation Board of Directors meeting (Location TBD).
All day free to enjoy the sights of Ft. Lauderdale, famous beaches, shopping, golfing and more.
5:15pm – 10:00pm
“Jungle Queen” BBQ Dinner and Show Cruise. Fully narrated cruise down the “Venice of America,” Fort Lauderdale’s New River, sailing through Millionaire’s Row with homes of the rich and famous, spectacular mega yachts, and sights beyond belief. When you arrive at their tropical isle, you’ll be treated to an all-you-can-eat dinner featuring barbeque baby back ribs, chicken, peel & eat shrimp and all the fixings. Please note that alcoholic drinks/soft drinks are not included. Live entertainment during dinner and a laugh out loud variety show after dinner (801 Seabreeze Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316).
